The Nebo Loop is a scenic byway that goes from Nephi, around Mt Nebo, north to Payson. There are a ton of overlooks, little hikes, and so on. And cows.
This is basically the easiest type of "hike" you can go on. At no point are you actually required to walk on dirt. In fact, you could spend your entire walk avoiding dirt entirely. Wear heels if you want.
A pretty awesome hot springs, perfect for swimming or soaking in, located near Fillmore, UT.
Let me explain what the Gardens are: They are some gardens. Huge numbers of gardens. It's a pretty big area, actually, full of gardens and sculptures and landscaping and "themed garden arrangements". Fifty-five acres of this, to be exact.
Some beautiful springs that you can see for free, or pay to soak in.
Dimple Dell Canyon is a park that runs east-to-west through suburban Sandy, Utah. It’s basically a canyon, go figure, that begins around State Street and ends on the mountains. There are several entry points along the way, with one of the best being on 1300 East and approximately 10000 South. I’d actually lived in Sandy […]
Saratoga Hot Springs, also known as Lehi Hot Springs, is located about 1/4 of a mile from a main road running through Saratoga Springs, on the north west side of Utah Lake, near the source of the Jordan River. There’s a parking lot, right off of Saratoga Drive, that is also a pavilion and playground. […]
Bridal Veil Falls is a super popular waterfall in Provo Canyon, along Highway 189. Basically if you take the 800 North exit in Orem off of I-15, then keep driving east, eventually you’ll pass it on the south side of Provo Canyon. It feeds into the Provo River, which also has a jogging/biking path running […]
A natural hot springs in North Salt Lake. It's not really hot. Kinda warm, though. As far as springs go, anyway. Can I recommend it? I guess.
You'll know you're in the right place when you feel a strange sense of foreboding and also see the huge gate that says "GILGAL" on it.
