    St. George Narrows

    Posted onApril 30, 2017October 8, 2018

There are points of the narrows that feel very… narrow. I tried to take a few good pictures for reference of how tight it was in places, but it really doesn’t do it justice. The crack itself wasn’t very long, and probably only takes about 10 – 15 minutes in total to walk through, but how tight it is makes it feel longer.

    Kanarraville Falls

Kanarraville Falls just outside of Cedar City, Utah is well worth the walk in and out of the river. If you’re down in Southern Utah, this is a hike you won’t want to miss.

    Nebo Loop

    Posted onSeptember 30, 2015July 1, 2018

The Nebo Loop is a scenic byway that goes from Nephi, around Mt Nebo, north to Payson. There are a ton of overlooks, little hikes, and so on. And cows.

Over the past decade or so I’ve visited Lava more than half a dozen times, and through these trips, these six have been my absolute favorite, the must do’s of Lava Hot Springs.

    Arches National Park

The national park’s website listed the trail to Delicate Arch as “strenuous.” I laughed. And then I went on the actual hike.

    Fifth Water Hot Springs

First, I just want to say that this hike is actually nearly 2 1/2 miles to the springs. It also gains in elevation, so a lot of that is uphill. If you are as physically fit as me, then you will want to die by the time you reach the top – or your endorphins will kick in, and you’ll feel awesome.

    Snow Canyon: Cinder Cone Trail

Snow Canyon often gets overlooked because it’s only a 45 minute drive from Zions, but there are plenty of beautiful and fun hikes to do around here as well.
